01Who we are
Montvo is a link service. A creator shortens a link, a visitor who opens it waits through a short ad page, and the creator is paid for visits that count. These terms are the agreement between you and the operator of montvo.com and montvo.link.
The operator is established in the Czech Republic. Full identification — legal name, registration number and an address for service — is being added to this page and is available on request from [email protected] in the meantime.

02Who may use Montvo
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract where you live. Montvo pays money out, and we are not set up to do that for a minor.
One account per person. Extra accounts made to collect the same earnings twice, to appear as your own referral, or to get around a suspension are not allowed, and everything they hold can be removed.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in and your API keys to yourself. Anything done with them is treated as done by you, so tell us as soon as you think that is no longer true.
If you use Montvo for an employer or a client, you are confirming that you may agree to these terms on their behalf.
03Your links and the ad page
You keep whatever rights you had in the destination you link to. You give us permission to serve a page in front of it, to show ads on that page, and to display the link's name and your handle there — that is the whole of what the service does, and it cannot work without it.
How long a visitor waits depends on the monetization level you pick for the link:
- Light: 1 ad, 5 seconds each.
- Balanced: 2 ads, 10 seconds each.
- Max: 3 ads, 10 seconds each.
The ads are banner placements on the page itself, and a pop advertisement that opens in a separate tab or window when the page is opened or continued from. Both come from an advertising partner rather than from us.
We may change the ad page — its layout, its wording, and the number and kind of ads on it — without asking you first. What we will not do is put a fake download button on it, start a download by itself, or chain a visitor through several redirects before the destination.
A link keeps working until you pause it, delete it, or we disable it under these terms. Deleting a link stops it resolving and removes it from your dashboard. What it earned stays on your account and is still paid out, and its name stays reserved so an address you have already shared cannot later point somewhere else.
04What you may not link to
You may not use Montvo for a destination that:
- distributes malware, or tries to get someone to install something under a false description;
- imitates a sign-in page or otherwise attempts to obtain credentials, payment details or identity documents;
- infringes somebody's copyright, trade mark or other rights, including a copy of a paid work put up without permission;
- sells counterfeit goods, or passes something off under a brand that is not yours;
- contains sexual content, content sexualizing minors, or material that is illegal where it is served;
- harasses a person, incites violence, or targets a group;
- was posted in bulk somewhere it was not welcome, whether that is a comment section, a chat server or an inbox.
You also may not attempt to interfere with the service itself: probing it for holes, scraping it at a rate it did not offer you, running its pages inside frames or traffic exchanges, or automating the ad page in any way.
If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask [email protected] first. It is a cheaper conversation than a suspension.
05What earns, and what does not
A visit earns when the visitor waits through the whole ad page and then continues to your destination. Nothing before that point is paid for, because until then nobody has actually arrived anywhere.
These are the cases where a visit reaches the end and still earns nothing:
- The visitor left before the last ad, or closed the page without continuing.
- The traffic checks decided no advertiser would pay for the visit — automated traffic, a datacenter or proxy address, an anonymizing network, a repeated or replayed unlock, or a page opened inside a frame.
- The same visitor already earned on that same link within the last 24 hours. They still unlock and still reach your destination; it simply does not pay twice. A different link of yours is not affected.
- The link, or your account, was disabled at the time.
Your dashboard shows each of these separately, so a gap between visits and earnings always has a stated reason rather than being left for you to guess at.
We do not publish the exact rules the traffic checks use, and we will not confirm or deny individual signals. Publishing them would tell the people we are filtering exactly what to change.
We may reverse earnings after the fact if a review finds that the traffic behind them was not genuine. If that happens to you we will tell you which links and which period, and you can reply.
06Rates and your balance
What you are paid per thousand counted unlocks is the rate card shown on your dashboard. It varies by the visitor's country and device and by the level you set on the link, and the figure you see there is the figure we pay.
Rates change. When they do, the new rate applies to unlocks recorded after the change; unlocks already recorded keep the rate they were priced at. We are not obliged to give notice of a rate change, but a change that lowers rates materially will be announced before it takes effect.
Your balance is an amount owed to you in US dollars. It is not a deposit, it does not earn interest, and it is not money we hold on your behalf in an account of your own.
07Payouts
Payouts run every Friday, in Bitcoin (BTC), to the wallet address on your account. If your balance is under $5 on the day, or you have not set a wallet, it stays in your balance and goes out the following week instead.
A payout usually reaches your wallet the same Friday, and sometimes a few days later. We do not promise a delivery time: a transfer is broadcast by us and then confirmed by the Bitcoin network, and the second half is not ours to schedule. What we do promise is the day the run happens and that nothing owed is skipped.
The wallet address is yours to get right. A payout sent to an address you entered incorrectly cannot be recovered by us or by anybody else, and we cannot replace it.
Your balance is converted to Bitcoin at the rate at the moment of the payout. What that is worth afterwards is not something we control or guarantee, and network fees are deducted from the amount sent.
Taxes are yours. We do not withhold anything, and we do not report your earnings to a tax authority on your behalf unless a law requires it of us. What you owe, and where, depends on where you live.
We may hold a payout while a review of your traffic is open. If we do, we will say so, and we will not hold it longer than deciding the question takes.
08Referrals
If somebody signs up through your referral link, you earn a share of what they earn: 15% in their first month, 10% for the rest of their first year, and 5% after that for as long as they keep earning. It comes out of our side, never theirs.
The referral is attributed by a cookie that lasts 30 days, and is fixed at the moment they create their account.
You may not refer yourself, refer accounts you control, buy sign-ups, or advertise Montvo in a way that misrepresents what it pays. Commission earned that way is removed along with the accounts.
09Reports and removals
Anyone can report a link, from the ad page itself or by email. We publish how quickly we answer each kind of report on our abuse page, and we hold ourselves to it.
When we accept a report we disable the link. We do that to the link and not to your account: one bad destination is a link problem. A pattern of accepted reports is an account problem, and is handled under the next section.
If we disable a link of yours we will tell you what was reported and why it was accepted, and you can reply and ask us to look again.

10Suspension and closing an account
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently, or that we are required to act on by law.
A suspension stops the account's links working and stops it earning. We will tell you it has happened and why, unless telling you would be against the law or would defeat an investigation into fraud.
A balance built from traffic we have found to be fraudulent is not paid out. A balance built honestly is paid out in the normal way even if the account is closed, subject to the minimum.
You can close your account at any time from your settings. Doing so deletes your links and their history, so take a payout first if you are owed one.
11Availability and liability
Montvo is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, that every link will always resolve, or that any particular level of earnings is achievable. Earnings depend on traffic we do not control.
We are not responsible for what is at the other end of your links. You chose the destination; whoever visits it is dealing with you and with whoever runs it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost earnings, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what we paid you in the three months before it arose.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, and, if you are a consumer, for your statutory rights.
12Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic, and the courts there have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may also bring a claim in your own courts.
Before anything formal, write to [email protected]. Most of what reaches us is a misunderstanding about a number on a dashboard, and those are quicker to fix than to argue.
13Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top of this page always says when the wording last changed.
For a change that materially affects what you are paid, what you may link to, or how an account can be closed, we will give notice by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Montvo after that is how you accept it; if you would rather not, close the account and take your balance.
Smaller changes — clarifications, corrections, a new contact address — take effect when they are published.
